Cavan Older People’s Council will be holding their Annual General Meeting/Information Roadshow on Wednesday, 1st October from 9.30 am to 2.00 pm in The Lavey Inn, Dublin Road, Cavan.

The Irish Heart Foundation Mobile Unit will attend the event, with expert nurses offering blood pressure and pulse checks alongside practical heart-health information and advice to help reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke.

Attendees can also enjoy talks on a range of topics, entertainment from The Cuan Choir, and visit service-provider information stands. Lunch will be served. New members are especially welcome.
