Social Smarts: Helping Your Child Build Meaningful Connections

January 19 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Free

This Social Smarts workshop is delivered as part of The Changing Lives Initiative: Flourish & Thrive, which offers early supports to parents of children who may be neurodivergent and experience the world in their own unique way. This includes children with or without a diagnosis of ADHD, Autism, or other neurodevelopmental differences.

The session will explore what social skills are, how social differences can affect children’s everyday lives, and how these skills may look different in neurodivergent children. Parents and caregivers will gain parent-friendly information and practical strategies they can use straight away to support their child in areas such as friendships, play, and teamwork.

Whether your child has a diagnosis, is on a waiting list, or you are just beginning to explore the possibility of neurodivergence, this workshop aims to offer reassurance, confidence, and clear, supportive guidance.

Delivered by Archways – Centre of Excellence for Children and Family Programmes as part of The Changing Lives Initiative: Flourish & Thrive. Supported by the PEACEPLUS Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
