Walkie Talkie & Tea Spring Gala takes place on 12 April at 2pm in Hotel Kilmore.

This free community event aims to raise awareness of Walkie Talkie & Tea, a local initiative that encourages connection and helps combat loneliness through simple, welcoming social gatherings.

The Spring Gala will bring together local bakers, crafters, makers and small businesses to showcase what the community has to offer. The organiser has also said that representatives from ALONE and health and wellness information will be part of the event.

Walkie Talkie & Tea has grown from a small walking group into a friendly community centred on a simple idea: a walk, a talk and a tea. The gala offers another chance for people to come together in an informal and welcoming setting.
