The Youth Wellbeing Wallet Card and matching A2 Wellbeing Board have been developed by Cavan Monaghan Connects to support young people’s mental health across the region. Designed in a bright, accessible style, they bring the key messages of the Five Ways to Wellbeing together with clear signposting to local and national supports.
Both resources highlight common stressors for young people – including school pressure, friendships, exams, social media, bullying, body image, sexuality and family concerns – alongside the Five Ways to Wellbeing: Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning and Give. They also include a simple “Signs of Stress” checklist to help young people notice when stress may be building, such as headaches, fidgeting, sweating, muddled thinking or feeling tense and overwhelmed.
