Cavan Local Community Safety Partnership is inviting people across County Cavan to take part in a county-wide Community Safety Survey. The survey will help shape the new Cavan Community Safety Plan 2026–2028, making sure local priorities and actions reflect the real concerns of people who live, work and visit the county.
Community safety means both being safe and feeling safe. It is an important part of quality of life, and this consultation aims to gather people’s experiences, concerns and ideas from across County Cavan. The survey is open to all residents aged 12 and over. The views of young people and underrepresented groups are especially important.
Broad participation will help ensure that a wide range of issues, perspectives and lived experiences are reflected in the plan. You can complete the survey online here. Paper copies are also available in libraries and public buildings throughout County Cavan.
The closing date for submissions is midnight on Sunday 31 May 2026. All questionnaires are anonymous, and responses will be treated confidentially. No participant will be identifiable.
The information collected will be used to inform the new Cavan Community Safety Plan. Findings from the consultation may also be shared with the National Office for Community Safety.
