Finding information about local supports and activities can sometimes be challenging for busy families. The Monaghan Parents’ Padlet has been created to address this by providing a central, easy-to-use information forum specifically for parents and carers in County Monaghan.
Developed by Monaghan CYPSC in partnership with local Child and Family Support Networks, the Padlet acts as a community bulletin board where not-for-profit services, programmes, and events relevant to families are shared in one accessible place.
The platform signposts a wide range of supports for parents and carers, including training opportunities, community events, family programmes, and links to support agencies operating in the Monaghan area. By bringing this information together, the Padlet aims to help parents quickly find resources that may support family wellbeing, parenting skills, and community connection.
The bulletin board is designed to be user-friendly and accessible across multiple devices. Parents and carers can view the Padlet through a web browser, on their phone, or via the Padlet app. Information is regularly updated to ensure that the board reflects current opportunities and events happening across the county.
To keep the space relevant and up to date, posts are removed once events have passed. Parents and carers can also share information about relevant community events, which are reviewed and approved by the Padlet moderation team to ensure that all content remains suitable for the forum.
The Monaghan Parents’ Padlet is a non-commercial and non-political space. It focuses on highlighting community and not-for-profit supports that may benefit families across the region.
