Parents and carers in County Cavan now have access to a dedicated online space designed to make it easier to find local supports and opportunities.
Cavan Parent’s Padlet is a signposting and information forum that brings together details of support services, parenting programmes, workshops and community events happening across the county. The aim is to provide one central point of information that is clear, accessible and regularly updated.
The bulletin board promotes not-for-profit services and events relevant to families. It is non-political and non-commercial, ensuring the focus remains firmly on community wellbeing and support.
The Padlet is managed by Cavan CYPSC (Children and Young People’s Services Committee) and the Child and Family Support Networks. Content is moderated to ensure suitability and relevance, and outdated posts are removed after events take place to keep the space current and easy to navigate.
Parents and carers are also invited to share information about relevant community-based events or initiatives. Submissions are reviewed by the Padlet moderator team before being approved.
Cavan Parent’s Padlet can be accessed easily by mobile phone, web browser, or via the app store, making it simple for families to stay informed wherever they are.
While every effort is made to ensure the information shared is accurate and up to date, users are encouraged to contact event organisers directly for the most current details. The platform may occasionally experience technical issues outside of the organisers’ control.
Families are encouraged to explore the bulletin board and share it with others who may benefit.
