Description

Peer Advocacy in Mental Health is an independent, island-wide service led by people with personal experience of mental health challenges. Trained peer advocates provide support, information, and advocacy to help clients regain control, grow in confidence, and develop self-advocacy skills. Services promote recovery and social inclusion through mutual understanding and authentic, empathic support. All advocates are trained and certified in peer advocacy.
