Submitting an Event or News Item to Cavan Monaghan Connects
If you would like to promote an upcoming event, campaign, or wellbeing initiative through Cavan Monaghan Connects, please review the criteria below and complete the event submission form provided.
Inclusion Criteria
To be considered for inclusion, your event should meet the following criteria:
The event is organised by one of the following:
- The HSE
- A statutory service (e.g. Tusla)
- A HSE-funded organisation with a relevant service level agreement (SLA)
- A Connecting for Life partner organisation
- A CYPSC partner organisation
- An organisation listed on www.yourmentalhealth.ie
The event or initiative:
- Has a clear mental health or suicide prevention focus
- Or has a broader focus (e.g. community health) where mental health is a central theme
- Is accessible and relevant to local or national audiences
The information provided:
- Aligns with good practice in mental health and suicide prevention
- Promotes inclusion and equality
- Ideally reflects a collaborative or inter-agency approach
- Is free to attend or access (exceptions: academic conferences or small booking fees)
What We Cannot Include
To keep our platform clear, focused and equitable, we are unable to promote:
- Events run by for-profit organisations
- Events that require an attendance fee (except where clearly justified and nominal)
- Job advertisements
- Research recruitment not relevant to Cavan or Monaghan
- Politically affiliated events
- Fundraising activities
Note: Cavan Monaghan Connects reserves the right to decline listings that do not meet the criteria or that include high participation costs.
